Well, here we are—the moment where I’m saying goodbye in my last blog post. As I type these words, I can’t help but think about the incredible journey we’ve had together, from my first nervous days at Yale as a transfer student to the unforgettable experiences at the University of Oxford. It’s been a wild ride of emotions, and today, I’m feeling a mix of gratitude, nostalgia, and a bit of sadness as I bid farewell. Each blog post has been like a snapshot of my life, documented and shared with all of you.
From the classrooms of Yale to the streets of Oxford, this blog has been a way for me to share both my academic journey and personal growth. It’s pretty amazing how words on a screen can capture the essence of experiences, freezing moments that might have otherwise faded away.
Yale, you’ve been more than just a university to me. You’ve been my home away from home, a place where I faced challenges head-on and built friendships that kept me going. Writing about all these experiences, the ups and downs, and everything in between, has been a privilege, and I want to sincerely thank each one of you who has been a part of this journey.
Reflecting on all these blog posts is like flipping through a well-worn photo album. Each entry holds memories of new travels, exciting new friendships, and quiet moments exploring the Yale campus.
As I say goodbye to familiar places and faces, I take with me the laughter, shared experiences, and the strength that comes from facing challenges together with friends. To my girls (you know who you are), you’ve been the heart of my Yale experience, and I’m grateful for each one of you.
To everyone who has silently followed along, thank you. Your presence turned this blog into a conversation, and I’ve learned, laughed, and shared so much because of it. As I move on to new adventures beyond Yale, I carry the lessons learned, the memories made, and the connections formed through this blog.
Now, as I close this chapter and step into the next phase of life, I want to express my gratitude to each one of you. Though this blog says goodbye, the stories and memories remain. I hope our paths cross again, whether in the digital world or in the unpredictable journey of life.
With heartfelt thanks,
Paulina
