“Jack! Wake up!” I screamed, unable to contain my excitement. My roommate was not as happy as I was to be up at 8:00 AM on a Monday morning, but he was much happier once he took a look outside. It was snowing!
About an hour later, it was drizzling and the white coating quickly began to melt. The sun decided to make an appearance in the afternoon and it turned into a pleasantly warm autumn day. What volatile New Haven weather!
In the end, it was just a coating of snow. But waking up to such a pleasant surprise definitely made my day!
