When I was a high schooler applying to college, I would live in the realm of college Youtubers, specifically, Yale Youtube. From videos like Day in My Life at Yale to My Yale Dorm Tour, college Youtubers allowed me to place myself in the shoes of college students and imagine whether I would be a good fit for a university.
Although I haven’t watched Yale Youtubers after setting foot on campus, I am still grateful for the videos that students have posted about Yale. Now that I am a student, I realize how difficult it is for students to balance their schoolwork while posting videos on a consistent basis. As a symbol of my gratitude for their hard work, I have compiled some iconic Yale Youtubers below.
1. Josh Beasley - Josh Beasley was the original Yale Youtuber. Although he graduated from Yale this past spring, his videos are still helpful for prospective students as they depict his experience.
2. Tia Chitty - Tia’s videos provide students a realistic glimpse of life at Yale. As an international student and a student athlete, her videos provide students a look into an athlete’s life.
3. Aimee - Aimee is a current first-year at Yale and is currently very active on her Youtube channel. Check out her videos if you want the most up-to-date content on a freshman’s experience.
4. Cassandra Hsiao - Of course, I had to include Cassandra’s channel. Not only is Cassandra a fellow blogger, but she is an amazing video creator as well.
5. Tan Yi - Tan Yi is known for her “study with me videos” where she brings you along to study. Her videos are so aesthetic and definitely provide the perfect study ambiance.
6. Hannah Maria - Hanna’s videos also offer students a glimpse of life at Yale. Her videos are not only entertaining but they also are super helpful for prospective students.

It is amazing that the realm of Yale Youtubers is always expanding as new students begin to document their experiences at Yale. While some may have graduated and others do not post videos consistently, Yale Youtubers provide perspective students a glimpse of life at Yale. Even if you aren’t currently applying to colleges, these Youtubers are still amazing content creators so make sure to check them out!
