The View out my Window

Snow covers the ground near a dimly-lit New Haven intersection.

I’m sitting in my desk, looking out my window, exhausted from travel and catching up with friends. New Haven is covered in snow, the branches of trees sparkling from the layers of ice that coats them. The roads are quiet. The dim lights cast a yellow glow that is reflected by the white snow on the ground. Soon, the streets will be filled with students as shopping period begins. But until then, I’m going to enjoy the peace and quiet of a snowy New Haven.
