One. Big. Bulldog. Day.

Bulldog Saturday takes all the fun of Bulldog Days and packs it into a one-day program. Participants will join campus tours, student life panels, academic forums, and activities with student groups. Visiting admitted students will eat in campus dining halls, connect with future classmates, and have a special New Haven pizza lunch.

Bulldog Saturday is structured as an open house. Students and families are welcome to participate in as much of the programming between 8:30am and 7:00pm as they like.

The admissions office is not able to arrange overnight hosting for Bulldog Saturday visitors. Visiting students are welcome to make their own arrangements to stay off campus or with a friend.

The full Bulldog Saturday program is open to students and family members, but only admitted students will be invited to eat dinner in the residential colleges.

Eligibility for the admissions office’s Yale Travel Program is based on financial need, and a completed Yale financial aid award is needed to determine eligibility. Travel must be from within the United States. Please contact the Yale Travel Team at yaletravelprogram@gmail.com with questions. QuestBridge Finalists and other admitted students with a Yale financial aid offer that includes a parent share below $10,000 are eligible, if they will be traveling from within the United States.

Flight bookings are only available for Bulldog Days and not Bulldog Saturday. For Bulldog Saturday attendees, the Yale Travel Program will cover the cost of a train, bus, or mileage reimbursement.

Eligible students will receive email invitations on a rolling basis after their financial aid package becomes complete. The admissions office cannot reimburse the cost of flights or long-distance train tickets booked by students or families on their own, and travel assistance is not available for accompanying family members.

Lunch will be provided by the admissions office at our New Haven Pizza Party. Admitted students will receive meal cards for dining hall access for dinner. You may want to bring $30-$40 to explore New Haven’s famous restaurants or the Yale Bookstore, but spending money is not required.
