Shamillah's Blog

Shamillah is a sophomore in Davenport, and is possible Economics and African Studies double major. She was born and raised in Uganda and moved to New Mexico for two years before attending Yale. She loves to sing and dance and is therefore involved in Konjo African Dance Troupe, has sang with the Yale Undergraduate Gospel Choir and ASEMPA, an African a capella group. She is also immensely involved in the Yale African Students’ Association, and she spent the summer in the ever-romantic Paris.
